" I wanted to make a series of paintings that deliberately spoke to each other, paintings that would be visually rooted in figurative language since I felt my instinct was driving me this way.

 I wanted to spend a lot of time on these and for the final presentation to resemble a theatrical piece. I was open to whatever form they would take however, I knew that I wanted to have each canvas as a chapter in the story with an interval... the interval would be a quadriptych . Thankfully, I was sponsored to make these works and spent a large part of 2019 creating them. 

The pieces ended up focusing on an individual who would be the main protagonist.
